Terms
Terms of Service
Effective date: April 27, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of SnapLedger. By creating an account, accessing the website, using the web app, using any mobile or wrapped app experience, connecting an account, or otherwise using SnapLedger, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SnapLedger provides read-only portfolio monitoring, watchlists, market-data views, analytics, alerts, account-data organization, and related tools. SnapLedger is software for informational use and does not replace your brokerage, custodian, accountant, tax adviser, financial adviser, or investment professional.
2. Eligibility And Account Responsibility
You may use SnapLedger only if you can form a binding agreement and are legally permitted to use the service. You are responsible for your account, devices, login credentials, identity-provider access, connected-account permissions, and all activity under your account.
3. No Investment, Legal, Accounting, Or Tax Advice
SnapLedger does not provide investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Any analytics, summaries, signals, alerts, or portfolio views are informational only and should not be relied on as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, asset, or instrument.
4. No Brokerage, Custody, Or Trade Execution
SnapLedger is not a broker-dealer, exchange, custodian, registered investment adviser, trading venue, bank, money transmitter, or tax preparation service. SnapLedger does not execute trades, custody assets, transfer funds, open brokerage accounts, manage assets, or guarantee access to any brokerage service.
5. Your Decisions And Verification Duties
You are solely responsible for your investment, trading, tax, legal, and financial decisions. Before making decisions or relying on information shown in SnapLedger, you must verify important information with your brokerage, custodian, financial institution, adviser, tax professional, or other authoritative source.
6. Data Accuracy, Timing, And Availability
Portfolio values, positions, balances, quotes, historical prices, market-session state, charts, alerts, classifications, and analytics may be delayed, stale, estimated, incomplete, provider-limited, interrupted, corrected, unavailable, or inaccurate. SnapLedger does not guarantee that displayed information will match brokerage statements, tax forms, exchange data, or provider records.
7. Connected Accounts
You are responsible for authorizing only accounts you own or have the legal right to connect and for reviewing permissions presented by your financial institution or connection provider. You may disconnect accounts or delete your SnapLedger account from Settings.
Connected-account availability depends on financial institutions, connection providers, authentication status, user permissions, maintenance windows, provider limits, and network conditions. SnapLedger is not responsible for provider outages, institution restrictions, incomplete syncs, or connection failures outside our control.
8. Manual Data And User Content
If you enter manual accounts, holdings, notes, settings, watchlists, or other content, you are responsible for its accuracy and legality. You grant SnapLedger the limited rights needed to host, process, display, back up, analyze, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service.
9. Subscriptions, Trials, Renewal, And Cancellation
The intended paid subscription is a 14-day free trial followed by $12.99 per month unless a different price, billing period, promotion, or plan is shown at purchase. A payment method may be required to start the trial. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal through the platform, app store, or billing provider used for purchase.
10. Refunds And Billing Support
Refund availability depends on the platform or billing provider used for purchase and applicable law. App-store purchases generally must be managed through the applicable app store. Web purchases may be managed through the billing provider flow made available in the app. Contact support for billing questions, but we may not be able to issue refunds directly for purchases controlled by a third-party platform.
11. App Store And Platform Terms
If you access SnapLedger through an app store or platform, that platform's terms may also apply to your download, subscription, payment, cancellation, restore, and refund rights. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory platform terms, the mandatory platform terms control only to the extent of that conflict.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse SnapLedger, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, probe or bypass security controls, scrape or redistribute market data, overload infrastructure, reverse engineer non-public service components, use another person's account, submit malicious code, violate law, or use the service in violation of third-party terms.
13. Market Data Restrictions
Market data, news, reference data, quotes, and related provider content are made available for personal, informational use inside SnapLedger. You may not redistribute, resell, publish, commercialize, cache externally, or use provider content in a way that violates market-data provider, exchange, brokerage, or platform restrictions.
14. Service Changes And Availability
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, or replace features, providers, integrations, plans, pricing, or access to the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific provider coverage, specific market-data feeds, or continued support for any institution, asset type, feature, platform, or operating system.
15. Account Suspension Or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk to SnapLedger or others, misused the service, caused security or operational concerns, failed to pay required fees, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service or request account deletion from Settings.
16. Intellectual Property
SnapLedger, including its software, design, user interface, workflows, documentation, branding, and service content, is owned by SnapLedger or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of SnapLedger or any provider content.
17. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapLedger disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.
18. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapLedger is not liable for investment losses, trading losses, missed opportunities, tax consequences, data delays, provider outages, service interruptions, unauthorized third-party conduct, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
19. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. When changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where required or appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
